In the mountainous Himalayan regions of Asia the yak is know for its strength and agility.

It is in these regions a yak's surefooted strength is relied on by the Sherpa that commonly use these animals for packing supplies on treks through the Himalayas.

Yet despite its enduring strength, the yak is remarkably agile.  Within a few steps a yak can be sprinting at speeds of approximately 40 km per hour.
